Hilton Prague is renowned for staging one of the city’s most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations, transforming its grand spaces into immersive worlds of performance and glamour. For their 2024 extravaganza, the hotel invited Run For The Hills to create the full event identity for a night themed around Italian style, sparkle and cinematic indulgence. The evening was christened La Dolce Vita — a promise of high-octane entertainment, from theatrical acrobatics and operatic moments to riotous live music and a fashion show like no other.

We developed a rich and playful visual world to bring the theme to life, creating a series of nostalgic yet mischievous photographic montages inspired by the iconic landscapes and cultural touchstones of Italy. Sun-drenched vistas of the Amalfi Coast, the snow-capped drama of the Dolomites, and the unmistakable grandeur of Venice and Rome all appeared in our imagery — each reimagined with whimsical, unexpected twists to elevate the familiar into something fantastical. The montages became the backbone of the event’s identity, used across the marketing campaign, digital promotions, printed collateral and the visual environment of the night itself.

To accompany the visuals, we crafted a suite of playful copylines that embraced the spirit of Italian escapism. Witty, lyrical and a little flirtatious, the lines conjured an atmosphere of glamour and anticipation, designed to draw guests into the world of La Dolce Vita long before they stepped through the doors. Every phrase was written to echo the tone of the imagery — cinematic, romantic and knowingly over the top.

On the night, we extended the brand into the live experience, creating bespoke animations and stage graphics woven through the performances and set pieces. These moving visuals shifted and transformed throughout the evening, providing an ever-changing backdrop that heightened the spectacle and stitched the entire event together into a coherent, immersive story. From pre-event marketing to the final countdown, the identity acted as a visual thread that connected every moment, helping Hilton Prague deliver an unforgettable celebration with a flavour all its own.
