Do you only do branding for hospitality and property?

Not at all. While hospitality and property are big parts of what we do (and where our portfolio is especially strong), our branding work spans a wide range of sectors. We love collaborating with passionate founders and creative businesses of all kinds, from tech start-ups to lifestyle, wellness, and retail ventures.

Our approach is always the same: thoughtful storytelling, beautiful design, and a deep understanding of how brand identity connects to real-world experiences. Whether it’s a new product launch, a rebrand, or a complete visual overhaul, we bring the same strategic thinking and creative energy to every project.

Can one agency HANDLE both branding and interior design?

Yes – and that’s our speciality. Our team of brand strategists and interior designers work together to make sure your brand identity and your space tell the same story, and feel as harmonious as possible.

What kind of property BRANDING projects do you work on?

We work across a range of property projects. Our branding team creates identities and websites for creative workspaces and residential developments, from boutique eco schemes to larger multi-unit projects. Often, we collaborate closely with our interiors team, who might design the show home, marketing suite or communal areas while the branding team shapes the story and visuals for the development.

Both teams also work together on art, styling and in-venue graphics, ensuring the brand flows seamlessly into the physical environment.

And beyond development work, we also design interiors for holiday barnstays and private residential homes.

What types of hospitality branding projects do you work on?

A bit of everything. We work across the full spectrum of hospitality, from kiosks and street-food pop-ups to fine-dining restaurants. Our heartland is mid-to-upper casual dining, but we also love creating new F&B brands in shipping containers or boutique alpine hotels.

We also design brand identities and interiors for cinemas, members’ clubs, Events and cocktail bars. So whatever the size or scale of your project, we’d love to hear about it. Get in touch.

How do you create a brand for a new restaurant or bar?

Start with your story and concept. We’ll help you define your positioning, name, logo, and create any brand imagery you need. Then we’ll roll it out across menus, signage, in-venue graphics, and your website. A good brand sets the tone long before the doors open. And if you need interiors, we can help with that too. Explore our hospitality work.

HOW MUCH DOES branding cost for a small business or startup?

Branding costs depend on scope and ambition. A focused brand sprint might start from a few thousand pounds, while a full rebrand including strategy, brand world, guidelines and website can range from £10k to £50k or more. We quote transparently by phase so you understand exactly what is included.

Can you design branding for a law firm or professional services company?

Yes. We’ve rebranded family law practices and other professional firms — creating identities that feel trustworthy, intelligent, and distinct. We combine strategic clarity with visual sophistication to ensure the brand reflects expertise and credibility. See our work for Burgess Mee.

Do you offer branding for beauty, wellness or skincare brands?

Yes. We’ve created branding and websites for luxury skincare and wellness brands, covering everything from logo and packaging to online presence. We balance aesthetic beauty with strong brand positioning and storytelling. Have a look at Kind Atoms.

What’s the process of working with a branding agency?

Ourbranding process typically runs in five stages: discovery and research, strategy and positioning, design development, application and rollout, and delivery of final assets and guidelines. We tailor timelines to suit your launch plans and internal decision-making process.

How long does it take to design a brand identity?

A focused brand project can take around 4 to 6 weeks. A larger rebrand or one that includes a website may take 8 to 12 weeks or longer depending on complexity. We always agree a realistic timeline at the outset.

What makes a good brand identity?

A good brand identity is clear, consistent and full of character. It should communicate what you stand for and work seamlessly across logo, colour, typography, imagery, tone of voice, website and physical space.

what is a brand world?

A brand world is the universe your brand lives in – its personality, tone, visuals, materials, photography, language and atmosphere – and it's so much more than just a logo.

At Run For The Hills, we build brand worlds that connect everything: the identity, website, printed collateral, signage, interiors – even the music and scent, if relevant. It’s about crafting an experience that feels coherent and alive, whether that’s a restaurant, hotel, law firm or skincare brand. Here is a rich brand world we built that centres around the ancient Silk Road.

Do I need a new logo or a full rebrand?

That depends – and we can help you figure it out. We usually start with a brand audit to understand what’s working and what isn’t. Sometimes the core identity is solid and just needs a few supporting elements – like new brand illustrations or refined typography. Other times, a gentle facelift can make a big difference, helping your brand feel fresher and more consistent. And occasionally, the best approach is to start from scratch, redefining everything from the ground up.

We’ll always give honest advice and never suggest a full rebrand unless it’s genuinely needed.

do you design and build websites as part of a branding project?

Absolutely. We design and build fully responsive, brand-led websites that are rich in storytelling and detail. We often build in Webflow, allowing for efficient development and a seamless connection between design and functionality. That means greater creative control, faster turnarounds, and a seamless connection between design and functionality. From simple one-pagers to complex multi-section sites, we craft digital spaces that look beautiful, perform brilliantly, and truly capture your brand’s personality.

what is included in professional brand guidelines?

Brand guidelines typically include logo usage rules, colour palette, typography, imagery direction, tone of voice guidance and example applications. They ensure your brand remains consistent across every touchpoint.

do you offer a brand sprint or smaller branding package?

Yes. If you need a strong foundation quickly, we can scope a focused brand sprint, which is ideal for early-stage brands, pop-ups or projects with tighter timelines.

what does an interior design studio do, and what is included?

We design the full experience of a space. That can include concept design, spatial planning, interior architecture, finishes and materials, lighting direction, joinery concepts, furniture and FF&E specification, styling and support through delivery.

do you design restaurants, bars, hotels and workspaces?

Yes. Hospitality and workspace design are major parts of our portfolio. We design restaurants, cafés, bars, members’ clubs, boutique hotels, creative workspaces and residential developments, as well as design-led homes.

what are the stages of an interior design project?

Most projects follow a clear structure: brief and research, concept design, design development, technical detailing where required, procurement and sourcing, then installation and styling.

how long does an interior design project take?

It depends on scale and complexity. Concept stages may take several weeks, while detailed design and build phases take longer. We map a realistic programme early so you can plan around leases, contractors and launch dates.

how much does an interior designer cost in the uk?

Interior design fees vary depending on project size and complexity. Fees may be structured as a fixed fee or a day rate. We quote clearly and transparently so you understand what is included and what sits outside the fee.

do you offer ff&e procurement and furniture sourcing?

Yes. We can specify and source FF&E, furniture, lighting and finishes, managing suppliers, lead times, deliveries and installation coordination to avoid costly mistakes and delays.

how do interior design trade discounts work, and do you pass them on?

Yes. We pass on trade discounts and charge a flat 20% procurement service fee. Any trade discounts we receive are passed directly to you, and in many cases those savings can offset or even exceed the procurement fee while ensuring professional sourcing and accountability.

why do some interior designers not pass on trade discounts?

Studios structure fees differently. Some may keep design fees lower on paper and retain trade margins instead. Our approach is simple and transparent: a clear procurement service fee, with trade discounts passed on.

Can you work with our architect, contractor or project manager?

Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with architects, contractors, QS teams and specialist consultants, and can plug into your existing team or help you assemble one.

Do you offer design and build services?

We are a design studio rather than a contractor. However, we can work alongside a design-and-build team or support a traditional tender route, ensuring the final built space reflects the agreed design vision.

Do you design small restaurants, compact cafés or small workspaces?

Yes. Smaller spaces can be incredibly impactful when carefully considered. Smart planning, layered materials and strong storytelling can make a compactfoot print feel distinctive and generous.

Can you design an interior without rebranding our business?

Yes. If you already have branding in place, we can design the interior to express it clearly and effectively, working from your guidelines and ensuring the brand translates successfully into physical space.

can you handle both branding and interiors together?

Yes. This is one of our strengths. When branding and interiors are developed simultaneously, the result is more cohesive and commercially powerful. Read more about our joined-up approach here.

Do you design sustainable or eco-friendly interiors?

Yes. We can design with sustainability in mind through considered material choices, re usewhere possible and designing spaces that feel timeless rather than trend-led, as longevity is often the most sustainable choice.

What information do you need before starting an interior design project?

A clear brief helps enormously. We typically need your goals, audience, functional requirements, constraints, indicative budget and timeline. Floorplans, site photos and reference images are also very useful.

Do you offer residential interior design for smaller projects?

Yes. We offer residential design support for smaller projects and room-by-room updates, allowing clients to access our design expertise without committing to a full renovation. Have a look at this tiny but characterful flat in Camden.

do you offer residential interior design consultations?

Yes. We offer both remote and in-person consultations. You can share photos, measurements and inspiration in advance, and we provide tailored design guidance and product recommendations.

can you design around our existing furniture?

Yes. If there are pieces you would like to keep, we can incorporate them into the proposed scheme and build around them thoughtfully.

How does residential interior design consultancy work?

We begin with an agreed scope and fee, followed by a kick-off consultation where we discuss your space, lifestyle and objectives. We then provide clear next steps and deliverables suited to your project.

What should I prepare for a residential interior design consultation?

It helps to gather floorplans, photos, measurements and inspiration images, but you do not need to have everything figured out. Part of our role is helping you clarify direction.

How do budgets work for smaller residential interior design projects?

We agree fees upfront so there are no surprises. Where we are sourcing furnishings or finishes, you set the purchasing budget and we design within that framework.

How long does a small residential interior design project take?

Timelines depend on complexity. Some projects involve a few hours of consultation, while more involved room redesigns take longer. We agree timescales at the outset.

Can we add more design support during the project?

Yes. If you require additional input as the project develops, we can scope further support and agree additional time as needed.

What does “art” include in an interior design project?

Art can take many forms, including commissioned framed artwork, murals, illustration, typography, neon installations, photography, sculpture, found objects or curated prints. The aim is always to select or create work that strengthens the overall concept.

Do you create bespoke artwork or curate art for interiors?

Yes. Depending on the project, we may commission bespoke pieces, curate existing works or combine the two to achieve the right balance for the scheme.

We begin with a brief and references, then propose initial directions, refine the selected route, gain final approval and move into production and installation planning.

Can you help us choose art for a restaurant or workspace?

Yes. We guide clients through a curated selection process based on brand, audience and atmosphere, focusing on a small number of strong options rather than overwhelming you.

Yes. We canmanage sourcing, production methods, framing, delivery logistics andinstallation coordination, working with trusted printers, framers andinstallers.

Can you design large-scale artwork such as murals or feature walls?

Yes. Large-scale artwork can create memorable focal points, and we advise on scale, durability, surface preparation and lighting to ensure longevity. Check out this mural that went up a three floor stairwell.

can artwork reflect our brand story?

We look for intelligent ways to reference the concept through material, palette, subject matter or tone, without turning the artwork into advertising.

Do you offer art licensing for multiple locations?

Yes. If you need consistent artwork across several sites or touchpoints, we can structure licensing agreements clearly at the outset.

How much budget should we allow for art in a hospitality or workspace project?

It depends on the scale of the space and the level of ambition. We can work to a wide range of budgets and will advise where investment will create the most impact.

Can you mix original artwork with more affordable pieces?
