We were appointed to design and fit out the new 10,000 square foot London HQ of leading digital marketing agency SYZYGY. A bold and forward-thinking business, SYZYGY needed a space that would excite its team and wow visiting clients — while also being a fully functional, collaborative home for its technologists and creatives.

We worked hand-in-hand with the agency’s Creative Director to reimagine the entire floorplate, stripping it right back to its bare bones. The project involved extensive demolition to open up the space and lay the groundwork for a striking new spatial concept — an open-plan, atelier-style studio with a confident, industrial edge.

Among the standout features was the flooring: we were one of the first studios to embrace the Sterling Board trend, using it across the entire agency floor to give the space a raw, workshop feel. We paired this with oversized poured concrete-effect light fixtures — custom built to wrap around the structural pillars — adding sculptural intrigue and drama throughout.

We designed and installed a suite of quirky creative breakout zones, including neon-lit wigwams and informal seating pockets that encouraged impromptu huddles and moments of play. At the heart of the space sat a network of custom-built wooden bench desks, laid out in an unconventional T-formation. The creative leadership team sat at the ‘top table’, positioned to stay closely connected to the team around them.

The finished space is a confident blend of raw materiality, functional design and playful elements — a dynamic home for digital innovation, built for collaboration and creativity.
