Interiors are inspired by the mountain landscape, with rustic timbers, cosy upholstery and retro artwork combining to create a relaxed, design-led environment.

From the moment you arrive, the hotel greets you with warmth and character. The interior scheme is rooted in alpine charm and natural tones, with subtle accents of urban vintage, linking the drinking, dining and social spaces to feel both modern and timeless.

At the heart of the hotel is Eteila Brasserie, helmed by Executive Chef Lionel Mathier, celebrating local Swiss cuisine. The restaurant spans several interconnected dining rooms with sweeping views over the forest and surrounding mountains — sunlit by day, sparkling by night. With à la carte and half-board options, guests can enjoy everything from lazy breakfasts to epic lunches and candlelit dinners, with hearty, healthy dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.

The interiors of the brasserie channel a 1970s mood, reimagined for today. Textured wallpapers and rich banquettes sit alongside tongue-in-cheek vintage resort art and wall-mounted rustic chopping boards, bringing culinary warmth and personality to the space.

The lobby sets the tone with a timber-framed reception desk designed like a vintage haberdasher’s cabinet, stocked with curated alpine products and design books. Nearby, guests can relax by a crackling fire on soft seating, surrounded by subtle nods to Swiss design and outdoor living.

At the heart of the social scene is the Sewi Bar & Social Club — ‘Sewi’ meaning “cave” in the local dialect — a low-lit hangout serving craft cocktails, natural wines and artisan snacks. The space is a stylish speakeasy, with artisan tiling, antique mirrors, richly upholstered booths and velvet-lined corners for groups to gather. Our design team layered in ombré plaster walls, patterned tiles and bold lighting for a glamorous, lived-in vibe, complete with cheeky wall art channeling vintage black-and-white Alpine cool.

The guest rooms come in a variety of sizes, from compact singles to larger deluxe suites, many with balconies offering panoramic views over the forest, valley and rooftops. We designed a suite of joinery that flexes across room types while keeping the overall look cohesive — a warm palette of golden timbers, forest greens, characterful textiles and thoughtful lighting. Key design details include custom headboards, vanity desks and open wardrobes, tying into the Faern design language established at sister hotels but made more rustic for Crans-Montana. Bathrooms are chic and contemporary, featuring terrazzo floors, black-framed showers and brassware, all connecting beautifully to the hotel’s Spa offering.

Each room has been crafted to feel like a haven — a stylish, welcoming retreat after a day on the slopes or mountain trails.
