Ning Ma, Mamalan’s founder, approached us to help give her beloved brand a makeover. Her vision: No MSG, no grease – just delicious feel good Chinese. And she wanted the brand to reflect this.

Organic, healthy and environmentally caring. With a happy and unpretentious tone of voice. Authentically Chinese – and recognisably so without resorting to stereotypes.

Central to our brand refresh was a friendly new logomark and a series of playful graphic patterns. A fresh colour palette of orange, charcoal grey and lots of clean white space.
